He’s barefoot too–and shoes tend to insulate. Yikes.
Quick side note; if you need a microphone when you baptize people, it should be WIRELESS. Same basic reason. And obviously no electric equipment should come within 10′ of the baptismal. (and anything within 25′ should be on a ground fault circuit interruptor)
As an electrical engineer, I am constantly astounded at the risks people take when working with electricity.
