My daughter D.D. was lying on the ground and looking at some ants on the sidewalk. She informed my wife Karen, that she used to eat ants when she was younger. She thought about it a little bit then asked, “Mama, do ants go to Heaven?”
“I don’t know,” Karen replied. I’m not sure that [...]

(Because of one man’s convictions, the rest of us have the privelege—and freedom—to tell others that they can go directly to God without charge or priest!)
Reformation Day is a religious holiday celebrated in remembrance of the Reformation, particularly by Lutheran and Reformed church communities. It takes place on October 31 and is an official [...]

There’s more to sharing our faith then just doing a lot of yappin’. I’m amazed at the real ministry that can take place out in the open, right in public!
On a recent P.I.E. (Pizza, Intercession and Evangelism) outing we went down to the Hermosa Beach Pier.
I like a particular route that takes us by [...]

Panamanian authorities are investigating five people in connection with the distribution of contaminated cough medicine that killed 26 people, the state prosecutor’s office said. The government-made cough syrup contained diethylene glycol, an industrial solvent commonly used in brake fluid.
The deaths and scores of illnesses, occurred mainly in the capital.

“When preaching and private talk are not available, you need to have a tract read… Get good striking tracts, or none at all. But a touching Gospel tract may be the seed of eternal life. Therefore, do not go out without your tracts.”
Have a great weekend. The blog will now be updated on week days [...]

Today we went to Disneyland (otherwise known as “DL” in our household or DL could mean “da lost”). This time I avoided the rookie error of not taking enough Million-Dollar bill Gospel tracts; I stuffed a stack in my right pocket. Throughout the day I handed out quite a number of bills. [...]

We have a command from Jesus to “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” This literally means “go into ALL the world.” That includes bars, movie theatres, stadiums, “Red Light Districts,” Chinatown, Koreatown, and Boystown. It also includes places where freedom of speech is protected and where it ain’t, [...]

This begins a weekly column honoring those who were not afraid to share their faith.
A pastor by the name of Florescu was tortured with red-hot iron pokers and with knives. He was beaten very badly. Then starving rats were driven into his cell through a large pipe. He could not sleep, but had to defend [...]

The apostle Paul wrote this to a slave-owner named Philemon: “I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.”
I pray the same thing for you to.
There is nothing like what we have as a Christian: eternal [...]

Brandy, Rene and Vanessa are workers at the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History. I got their attention by wowing them with the Curved Illusion Tracts. “How did you do that?” they always ask. (Read about John the Evangelist doing the same thing in China when you read “China Mission Part 6, The Illusion,” below)
I [...]

We will no longer be oppressed by the fascism called Christianity. We will no longer be oppressed by the mentality of the police state.– Marilyn Manson, shouted at the concert in Santa Monica in January, 1997, quoted from Sara Reich, “Manson spits, hits and cuts in Santa Monica,” in USC’s The Daily Trojan (January 28, [...]

This is the final ruling concerning Living Waters ministries on the status of the lawsuit that Ray Comfort brought against a judge who ordered him to stop preaching in front of the Bellflower court house:
For two and a half years we preached the gospel each morning to a line of people who were waiting to [...]

We have it so good in America. That is painfully evident when you go to a country where freedom is restricted.
I will be starting 2 new weekly columns this week, inspired by the Communists.
One column will be “Lost Liberties.” This will feature articles and court cases that show how we are slowly losing [...]

It was such a pleasure to get back to one-on-one evangelizing after being virtually shut-up in a Communist country.
The day after I got back from China I went to our local Farmer’s Market and handed out about a hundred Million-Dollar bill Gospel tracts. I felt so free!!!
There’s the rub…
In China, I could have handed [...]

I stood in line to load my carry-ons into the overhead luggage containers as people waited behind me to do the same as we boarded the plane that would take everyone to San Francisco, the first stop on our journey to China. I took advantage of the situation…

After the Catholic Church, the team traveled to a wonderful restaurant where we ordered a ton of food. Every time you eat in China, there is a ton of food. And the food is all so strange…

I gave John the Evangelist a crash course in Biblical evangelism, using the 10 Commandments to bring knowledge of sin, and teaching him about the necessity of warning people of the impending Day of Judgment and Hell. Then I demonstrated that the Good News of Jesus Christ would really be good news only after people [...]
